• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

• Ability to manage a team, provide training, and offer leadership within the accounting department.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Any additional certification would be an additional points.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, and similar systems; experienced with POS systems (e.g., Revel) and advanced Excel functionalities.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in the UAE
• Experience in managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance

Description
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax laws, and effective cost management. You will work closely with management to provide insights that support business decisions and improve financial efficiency.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closings
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Handle audits, liaise with external auditors, and maintain proper documentation
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and maintain vendor relationships
• Support management with financial analysis and forecasts
• Continuously improve accounting systems and internal controls
• Mentor and supervise junior accountants or accounting assistants.
• Improve accounting processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
