Board-certified/recognized qualification in Histopathology
Master Degree Histopathology
With Fellowship/PhD
Minimum 15 years' experience in Histopathology/Pathology
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting tissue samples, providing accurate diagnostic reports, and offering expert consultations to clinical teams. Role & Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose, and interpret histological specimens to provide accurate diagnoses.
Prepare and review detailed histopathology reports, ensuring high levels of diagnostic accuracy and clarity for clinical use.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
Provide expert consultation to medical and surgical teams regarding complex or challenging cases.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist in treatment planning and patient management.
Offer expert second opinions, ensuring timely and accurate results for complex cases.
Participate in departmental audits and quality control programs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency in diagnostic practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental protocols, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Engage in histopathological research to advance knowledge in the field, contribute to scientific publications, and enhance diagnostic techniques.
Provide education and training to junior pathologists, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist in the administrative management of the pathology department, including case reviews, report turnaround time, and resource management.
Act as a liaison between the pathology department and other healthcare teams, ensuring clear communication of results and recommendations.
