Tell us a bit about yourself: Who are you, what is your role, and what does it include? What are your responsibilities at Alert?
“I’m Demee, a Recruitment Admin Assistant. My role is to support the recruitment team by managing job postings, sourcing, and handling administrative tasks. With a commitment to efficiency, I’m here to help streamline our hiring efforts and ensure we find the best candidate for each role.”
Demee plays an important part behind the scenes, ensuring that the recruitment team can focus on what they do best—finding top talent. Her organizational skills help keep everything running smoothly, ensuring no detail is missed.
What attracted you to this position and Alert as a company, and what was your first impression of the team and the work environment here?
“I was drawn to this position at Alert because of its strong reputation for matching talented professionals with leading companies, which aligns with my career goals in recruitment. My first impression of the team and work environment was very positive—everyone was welcoming, collaborative, and enthusiastic about their work, which created a motivating and supportive atmosphere.”
Could you tell us a bit about your background and the experiences you bring to your new role?
“I’m an HR Practitioner with more than four years of work experience. With a strong background in human resources and a passion for creating positive and efficient onboarding experiences, I’m confident in my ability to contribute effectively to any role in the HR department and any team.”
What makes you happy at work?
“Having clear goals and challenges, opportunities for learning and growth, a collaborative and supportive team environment, and recognition for my contributions. Engaging in meaningful work that aligns with my values and seeing tangible results from my efforts also contribute to my job satisfaction.”
What brings you joy outside of work?
“I love late-night drives to my favorite spots where I can see the city lights of Metro Manila or go camping on weekends.”
What did you enjoy the most about your first few months at Alert in Dubai?
“The people, company culture, and new learning.”
How do you unwind after a busy workday?
“I play with my pets or go on a late-night drive. But ever since I moved to the UAE, I’ve found joy in playing mobile games, enjoying social media memes, reading, and lately, exercising.”
