Who you are
As a Lead Pipeline Engineer, you lead pipeline activities, resources, and manhours to meet quality, budget, and schedule targets. You oversee routing, stress analysis, material selection, tech docs, procurement, and construction support, coordinating teams for safe, compliant pipeline systems.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proactive leader and team player; works well across disciplines and national clients.· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• ADNOC: Knowledge of AGES standards, Codes of Practice, and HSE requirements.
• ADNOC: CV in ADNOC format; prior approval in a similar role is an advantage.
• ADNOC docs required: attested degree, certificates, experience letters, passport.
• Proficient in AutoPIPE, PIPESIM, OrcaFlex, ABAQUS, MathCAD, Pipeline Studio, OLGA.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication skills.

Education & Qualifications:

• Engineering degree/diploma (Mechanical/Civil/Related).
• 10+ yrs in onshore oil & gas (pipeline design for wellheads, gas plants).
• UAE/GCC/ADNOC experience preferred.· UAE-attested degree.
• Codes: ASME B31.4/B31.8, DNV-OS-F101, API 1104.
• Experience with Wood, Kent, or Worley preferred.

Description
The Lead Pipeline Engineer is responsible for managing pipeline engineering, design, and execution activities, ensuring technical compliance, quality, budget, and schedule while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient pipeline systems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Manager. Manage pipeline engineering and manhours. Keep quality, budget and schedule on target.
• Prepare conceptual routing studies and the execution plan. Facilitate pipeline discipline meetings.
• Prepare, review and optimise onshore and/or offshore pipeline systems: route selection, material specifications and stress analysis.
• Prepare and review design basis, wall thickness calculation, study reports, specifications, datasheets, route map, alignment sheets, integrity study, drawings and MTO.
• Prepare and review procurement support documents (MR, TBE) and construction drawings to ASME B31.4/B31.8, DNV-OS-F101 and API 1104.
• Carry out feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost analyses. Coordinate with process, civil, structural, geotechnical and environmental teams.
