The hospital has a 110-bed facility providing inpatient and outpatient services across various medical and surgical specialties. With a team of 1,000 healthcare professionals, the hospital offers essential healthcare services, including inpatient and outpatient care, as well as a specialized department focusing on Essential Wellness within the framework of Integrative Medicine.

Education & Qualifications:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of specialty qualification Internal Medicines with specialization in Infectious Disease AND also having PhD or board certification; 
  • Minimum 7 years post-graduation experience (minimum of 12 years in total);
  • Willing to relocate to Kuwait.

Description
You are an experienced consultant hematologist with extensive training and specialization in hematology. Your main priorities will be: 

  • Admitting patients to the hospital and ensuring that full admission documentation (history and physical, Admission note and initial integrated plan) are recorded;
  • Ordering treatments and medications;
  • Conducting ward rounds at least once daily and as appropriate;
  • Keeping daily records of inpatient progress;
  • Following up the results of investigations and adjusting patient treatment/management accordingly;
  • Receiving calls and consultation requests from other departments or hospitals;
  • Seeing patients referred for consultation;
  • Providing on-call coverage on a rotational basis during evenings, nights, weekends, and Public Holidays, as required;
  • Maintaining and completing appropriate medical records for all patients in a timely fashion;
  • Participating in medical staff conferences, meetings and serve on hospital Committees, as requested;
  • Provides clear direction to healthcare professionals in creating and maintaining a safe environment;
  • Outbreak identification, management, control and prevention;
  • Meeting regulatory and accreditation standards.
