Physiotherapist (UAE national only) – Abu Dhabi

Who you are
You are a dedicated healthcare professional who improves the physical mobility of patients who suffer from illness, injury, disability or ageing. You provide diagnoses, determining the most effective treatments and educating patients. You bring experience as Physiotherapist Therapist and an excellent work ethic

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills in English, added advantage if bilingual English and Arabic

Education & Qualifications:

• Recognized Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy
• 2 year post graduate experience in a variety of clinical environments
• Valid DOH license or eligibility
• Experience in Pediatrics and Complex neurological presentations
• Post-qualifying certificates in relevant areas like sports injury rehab, lymphedema management, or scoliosis management
• Relevant range of experience in patient care settings specifically in Out Patient
• Due to government Emiratisation rules and regulations, only UAE nationals with passport and family book can be considered for this role

Description
Our client is looking for an healthcare professional familiar and comply with all OSHMS policies, standards and procedures that are relevant for their workplace. Attend applicable facility and departmental safety training and follow OSHMS policies and procedures.

• Evaluate patients to determine whether physiotherapy interventions are necessary
• Assess patients in accordance with the professional practice guidelines and standards
• Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
• Treat patients with movement disorders that were acquired through injury or have been present since birth
• Regularly measure patient progress by looking for signs of decreased stiffness, pain, and discomfort
• Recommend new tools and equipment to assist patients with regular exercise
• Refer patients to other specialists for massages, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, or other specialized treatments
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners and referring patients as needed
• Involving the families and caregivers of patients in their treatment programmes and the delivery of care
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Staying up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques
• Complying with government physiotherapy regulations
