Ability to prescribe various medications, and carry out non-surgical treatment
Excellent problem-solving abilities are crucial for complex cases
Education & Qualifications:
MBBS and Specialty degree and High Qualification (Specialty Diploma, Fellowship, PHD, European Board (American, Canadian, German, Irish & UK Board);
Experience not less than 20 years, 10 years after the high qualification will get Consultant level license;
Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating knee and ankle injuries in athletes and active individuals through both surgical and non-surgical methods
Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct physical examinations, analyze medical history, and utilize diagnostic tools like X-rays and MRIs to diagnose knee and ankle injuries
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, including both surgical and non-surgical options
Oversee and guide patients through recovery, working with physical therapists to create and monitor rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function and strength.
Advise athletes and active individuals on strategies to prevent future injuries and improve performance, including proper training techniques and nutrition.
Work with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, and surgeons, to provide integrated and comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and expectations for recovery.
Provide expert guidance on when it is medically safe for athletes to return to competition after an injury.
