Our client is a diversified business covering high-end equipment manufacturing, oil and gas engineering, and technical services with a global workforce of about 7,000 employees, the company is opening a new manufacturing facility in the UAE to expand its production of oil and gas equipment, which is currently mainly produced in China and the United States.

Who you are
You are a dynamic and experienced HR professional with strong ability to build relationships. You have deep knowledge of UAE and GCC regulations and a background in the oil & gas engineering industry and manufacturing or related sectors in the Middle East market. Your personal values, including sincerity, client orientation, dedication, inclusiveness, equality, and a commitment to excellence, align closely with the company’s core values, driving your motivation to contribute effectively to the team.
Skills & Competencies:
· Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic and/or Chinese is preferred but not mandatory. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations
Education & Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field · Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist role within oil & gas engineering industry and manufacturing plant or related industry, focusing on the Middle East market. · Thorough understanding of UAE HR best practices and employment laws and regulations

In this role, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive, multicultural workplace culture and ensuring effective human resource management across the organization. Responsibilities include aligning with headquarters' culture, management practices, and HR policies, as well as meeting local compliance and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Optimize HR policies and processes to ensure efficient operations that comply with local regulations in Dubai, while keeping up-to-date with employment legislation.
Build and maintain positive relationships with the HR department at headquarters to ensure alignment between the plant's HR policies and headquarters' standards.
Oversee recruitment processes, from job postings and interviews to the onboarding of new hires, including visa and work permit applications.
Provide onboarding training to help new employees understand company regulations, requirements, culture, and working environment. Assist staff from different countries in adapting to cultural differences, with a particular focus on supporting supervisors.
Organize employee engagement initiatives, including training and development programs, team-building activities.
Conduct performance management processes and provide guidance to both managers and employees.
Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, maintaining strong relationships, and fostering open communication, trust, and a positive work environment.
Participate in or manage other HR procedures, such as Compensation & Benefits, dormitory management, and HR operations.
