Do you have strong communication skills and are you a result driven person? Then we are looking for you! For our client are we looking for a Head of Sales in Kuwait. This client is a low voltage switchgear manufacturing & electrical trading company in Kuwait. The company has products ranging from LV switchgear, circuit protection, control & automation, wiring accessories, lighting and other electrical products for domestic, commercial & industrial sector. 

What we offer
You will have a direct and permanent employment with our client for either 2 or 3 years. We offer  30 days annual paid leave as well as repatriation airfares for overseas employees. Also you’ll be able to get employee discounts, commission based on the KPI and performance.

Who you are
Our client is looking to innovate their existing sales department of around 100 staff. To do that, they are hiring a new Head of Sales with innovative and creative mindset to strategically improve the current sales department and strategies. This role has 5 team members directly reporting to him.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communications skills in Arabic and English;
  • Result driven with great business acumen;
  • Strong influencing, problem-solving;
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close;
  • Great motivation, negotiation and relationship skills;
  • Have a good understanding of market demand and customer purchasing behavior;
  • Build and maintain quality relationships with customers, stakeholders and other companies.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering + Lighting;
  • Not less than 7 years successful experience in similar industry and with all different sales channels (B2B, B2C, showroom, whole sale, retail);
  • Strong focus and experience in retail and sales;
  • Preferably currently in Kuwait with Kuwait and/or GCC experience;
  • Valid driving license is mandatory;
  • Ideal candidate can join immediately;

You will be responsible for an annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results. Furthermore you will responsible for the following tasks;

  • Identify emerging new product markets, while being aware of current and new product market shift and competition status;
  • Assess, clarify and validate new product needs;
  • Set up new sales channel locations and oversee the onboarding process;
  • Assess and validate modern technologies on ongoing basis for new and existing products;
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quota for each sales channel, project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products;
  • Develop business plan san sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability;
  • Performance and development of sales key accounts;
  • Prepare action plan by individual as well as by team for effective search of new sales leads and prospects;
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new market;
  • Assist in development and implementation of marketing plan as needed;
  • Conduct one-on-one review with all key accounts to build more effective communicate and to provide insight for improvement of account’s sales and activity performance;
  • Provide timely, accurate and competitive pricing on all completed prospected applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin;
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports;
  • Assist in preparation of sales proposals and presentations and annual budget;
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines; Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensure that these are communicated and implemented within the team;
  • Hire and train new sales representatives, schedule intercompany transfers, assign daily duties and motivate staff at any retail location;
  • Maintain sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
