Skills & Competencies:

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree of Medicine;
• Specialty Qualification Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology, additional courses are an added advantage;
• Experience within the same specialization, particularly with diagnostic procedures;
• Willing to relocate to Qatar.

Description
Main responsibilities:

• Diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy;
• Managing common digestive disorders such as GERD, IBS & IBD;
• Review patient histories, perform physical exams, and make diagnoses regarding patient’s gastrointestinal (digestive and gastrointestinal tracts) problems;
• Create treatment plans for patient’s gastrointestinal problems;
• Explain treatment recommendations to patients;
• Interpret results of diagnostic tests;
• Treatment may include prescribing medications, counseling patients on diet changes, or performing surgery;
• Monitor patients’ progress.
