Who you are
You are a dedicated physician with great knowledge of your specialty, looking to grow and develop even more professionally. You have solid experience in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures and managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Skills & Competencies:

Active communication skills and the ability to effectively explain medical terms to patients;

Strong attention to detail.
Education & Qualifications:
MBBS and Specialty degree and High Qualification (Specialty Diploma, Fellowship, PhD, European, American, Canadian, German, Irish & UK Board);
ICU certification/subspecialty is mandatory
Experience not less than 20 years, 10 years after the high qualification will get Consultant level license;
Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients prior to surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients throughout procedures and in the ICU. You are a consultant anesthesiologist responsible for efficient anesthesia services. Being a Head of Anaesthesiology, this role works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including medical history and physical examinations.
Develop individualized anesthetic plans based on patient conditions and surgical procedures.
Administer various types of anesthesia in surgical settings.
Monitor vital signs and physiological responses during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Oversee recovery of patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
Manage pain control and address any postoperative complications.
Provide critical care management for patients in the ICU.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Lead and participate in emergency resuscitation efforts when needed.
Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and complications promptly.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and treatment options.
Helps in the professional development of all staff and provides teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff;
Maintains a work environment that promotes high standards for patient care, customer service, and ethical behavior;
Undertakes all work in accordance with the procedures and operating policies, including Infection Control, Health and Safety, Risk Management etc.
