Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields.

Who you are
You are an experienced healthcare professional with a great ability to connect with patients while performing tests that physicians have ordered.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of best nursing practices in general and for specific populations, such as children or the elderly;
  • In-depth understanding of hospital procedures and protocols;
  • Effective and professional communication techniques, including writing and speaking;
  • Personable and compassionate personality;
  • Excellent critical thinking and quick problem-solving skills;
  • Great organization, time management and multitasking abilities;
  • Leadership skills, like training, goal-setting and motivation;
  • Physically strong and able to work on their feet for long periods of time.

Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferably with Post Basic/Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Operating Room Technique;
  • Current CPR/BLS certification;
  • 1st Line Management Certificate/Diploma and/or current PALS certification is an advantage.
  • Licensing: Valid License from Ministry of Health to work as a Registered Nurse; 
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience;
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a supervisory post.

The main focus in this role is to coordinate with other nurses and hospital staff to determine organized measures to best care for their patients.

  • Record patients’ medical records and monitor vital signs;
  • Supervising nursing staff and monitoring their needs
  • Coordinating daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments, and patient care;
  • Overseeing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges;
  • Mentoring and training new staff and providing support and guidance to all staff members;
  • Monitoring medical charts and providing compassionate care and assistance to patients and families;
  • Liaising with doctors and administrators and communicating any protocol changes to staff;
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations;
  • Recording and maintaining accurate reports;
  • Identifying issues or emergencies and responding in a calm and efficient manner.
